Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has done it again, this time with an all new Nintendo gaming device, the Nintendo Switch ($299.99) , which allows you to practically game anywhere with or without friends!
We had the opportunity to try out the Nintendo Switch in person at the Nintendo Store in Rockefeller Plaza in NYC and meet with Yoshiaka Koizumi, a video game designer, director, producer and one of the designers of the Nintendo Switch!
We had lots of fun playing some of the NEW Nintendo Switch games with each other, by ourselves and we even challenged Mr Yoshiaka Koizumi to a game of Wizard where Avery won! Some of our favorite games were:
- Quick Draw- The fastest hand wins. Stare down your opponent and fire on command, then watch the virtual bullets’ trajectories on the screen and see who fired first.
- Copy Dance- Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Dance to the beat, then freeze and strike a pose. Can your opponent match that same pose? - Ball Count- You’re on a roll.
Guess how many “balls” are in the box using the Joy-Con™ controller’s HD Rumble feature. You can feel them rolling—you just can’t see them! - Eating Contest- Slam those sammies!
Chomp at (but not on) the Joy-Con as the IR Motion Camera feature tracks how many imaginary sandwiches you can eat before time runs out. - Wizard- “Wand” to play with power?
Thrust your “wand” at your opponent to hit them with powerful bolts and push them back when they strike.
The Nintendo Switch is true a “party in a Box” game where you can play alone, compete with friends and family or face-off with an opponent anywhere!
Check out the Nintendo Switch Super Bowl commercial to see it in action!

I still don’t think anyone does family games and consoles like Nintendo. They will always be the bosses!
