Classic Minnie Mouse 2nd Birthday Party at the Carousel

My niece turned 2 and my sister wanted to hav a Minnie Mouse themed birthday party because little “L” is all about Minnie Mouse and the gang! As soon as she told me her theme, I began searching the Internet and pinning my ideas! I was unhappy that there were not many party decorations, favors that featured Minnie Mouse in her classic red dress with white polka dots. First, I bough her Minnie Mouse Ears (Disney Store). I decided to search my favorite site, Etsy, to come up with some hand made favors and decor ideas for the party. I had her Minnie Mouse Tutu Dress made (Etsy). I ordered Minnie Mouse Cake Pops (Etsy). I decided to use red with white polka dot cups, napkins and party hats with black plates and white tablecloths to pull the color scheme together. After, some discussion, we decided to have the party at the Prospect Park Carousel, which would double as a venue and entertainment.
I made these Minnie Mouse serving plates by hot gluing two small black plates on a large black plate then I added a red white polka dot ribbon.
I made these shoes with silver, red, black rhinestones (Oriental Trading) that I hot glued in the shape of Minnie.
