The Great Big Bacon Picnic in Brooklyn
It is no secret that I am a bacon LOVER and when I heard that the Bacon Festival would be coming to NY, I knew that I would be there. Everything bacon for 2 whole days…yes thank you.
The Great Big Bacon Picnic was held in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on May 16 & 17th. The vendors ranged from bacon bites, bacon infused drinks, “toppings”, appetizers & even desserts! I was truly in bacon heaven and enjoyed every bite! My top 5 bacon creations were:
1. Bakon Mary made with Bakon Vodka.
2. Smoked Bacon Stuffed Oreos from Urbo
4.Caesar Kale Sushi Rolls from Cherry Izakaya
5. Bacon Infused Maple Syrup from Burton Maplewood Farm
I cant wait to see what next years Great Big Bacon Picnic will bring!
