The Holiday Train Show (11/22/17-1/15/18)at the New York Botanical Garden is one of our annual holiday traditions. We look forward to visiting the gardens and experiencing the model trains zipping through the intricate miniature landmarks.
You are transported to a winter wonderland when visiting NYBG for the holidays, especially after a fresh snow. The giant trees are adorned with festive decorations which are perfect for snapping holiday pictures.
The Holiday Train Show features model trains and extremely detailed mini replicas of buildings and landmarks throughout New York City made solely from natural materials.
This year, there are new replicas of the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, General Electric Building, and St. Bartholomew’s Church.
My boys were delighted and fascinated by the exhibit! I recommend making advanced reservations as it is a very popular exhibit and tickets do sell out.
