Candlelighters NYC 13th Annual Hero Celebration

On Monday, April 9, Candlelighters NYC, a very special organization that helps families fighting pediatric cancer, will host its 13th Annual Hero Celebration with some SUPER guests – the PJ Masks! I’m so excited to tell you more about it AND to extend an invitation for you and your family to attend. It’s going to be an unforgettable experience filled with performances and activities – you won’t want to miss it!
In keeping with the event’s theme of “kindness” and “support” this year, PJ Masks has teamed up with the organization to support the heroes – and the characters will be on-site to meet and take photos with all attending children!
The magical evening, to be held at the famed Central Park Loeb Boathouse, will feature beloved NYC entertainment and fun-filled activities, including:
- Meet-and-greet with the PJ Masks – Owlette, Catboy and Gekko!
- Amazing Max
- The Big Apple Circus dogs
- New York City Ballet dancer Ashley Hod
- The O’Malley Irish Step Dancers
- Face painting
- Photo booths
- Arts and crafts
- Toy-filled play tables
- Larger-than-life dessert bar for “kids” of all ages
- …and MUCH more!
In addition, all guests are invited to cheer on the amazing Parade of Heroes, which honors the children currently fighting cancer.
Tickets include a fabulous dinner and drinks for all attending kids and parents! There will also be a very cool silent auction for guests to take part in on-site.
All proceeds from the event benefit Candlelighters NYC, a recognized, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping families get through the difficult times when a child is diagnosed with and being treated for cancer.
