RoboFun is a a division of Vision Education & Media (VEM), provides after-school programs to youth in technology and multimedia with a mission to construct solutions that inspire students and teachers and to address the widest possible range of academic standards through the use of leading-edge technologies. The founder, Laura Hart, has worked with teachers, students and technology for over thirty years. RoboFun provides children a teaching environment that satisfies their curiosity but also allows them to learn in a way that recognizes and embraces their individuality. Robofun has taught STEM to over 20,000 children in our private studio on the Upper West side of Manhattan and in over 100 schools across New York City!

LEGO Robotics & Coding Camp

Students in Kindergarten will have a great time conducing Science experiments while learning to build fun motorized LEGO creations and make them “come to life”. Even younger children (ages 5-7) can program their very own interactive games and stories using Scratch Jr on the computer.

Minecraft Camp

Minecraft is always a hit with students of all ages and during these Minecraft specific classes, students (8-11 years old) learn about electricity and circuitry by creating DIY projects based off of some of the popular features in the game. These hands-on experiences assist in the players understanding of the Minecraft gaming concepts which allows them to begin to master the game.

My favorite part of the RoboFun camp is the weekly presentations where campers showcase and explain the projects they have been working on using technical language. This shows that they really know and enjoy their time at RoboFun camp!
