Summer days are here and what a better way to connect with your kids than by being active with them. The more relaxed atmosphere gives you the opportunity to enjoy quality time with your little ones in new environments and unique ways. Marathon Kids is helping families do exactly this through their FREE summer Walk and Talk challenge.

Ever since I completed my first and only half marathon, the Brooklyn Half in 2018, I have gotten a little more intentional with getting out and active with my family. My boys love running and being active and I schedule time for them to go out to the park weekly to just run. The Marathon Kids programs are a great way to get started and have fun while exercising and bonding with your children.

In schools all over the country, teachers are using social-emotional learning tools (SEL) to help raise kinder, more empathetic, more positive kids with fewer instances of depression and stress. SEL can improve achievement, and it also increases positive behaviors such as kindness, sharing, and empathy; and improves attitudes toward school.
